Description: • It is considered that Homer was thinking about the island of Mljet when he described the enchanted island of Ogygia, nymph Calypso and Odysseus. This cannot be proved, of course, but there is little doubt that some of his descriptions suit island Mljet perfectly • To reach Mljet it takes approximately 45 min by speed boat from Dubrovnik cruising along Elafiti islands in the direction of Korčula town. National park takes the third of the island and is located on the west part of the island Mljet • Two salt water lakes characterise it, the Large and Small lake • There are other wonders of nature as well... In the middle of Large lake you will find a small island named St. Mary that is home to the Benedictine monastery of the same name dating back to the 12th century • Island of Mljet is considered to be the greenest island in the Adriatic • During the time of our cruise you will visit the Odysseus cave, National Park, bay of Limuni and its sandy beaches sometimes called the lagoon on Mljet, lots of lovely spots to enjoy peace, colours of the sea and silence... • If you enjoy snorkelling we could do it on on of the findings of amphoras.... Excursion departing from Hvar will include a stop in Korcula town. Excursion departing from Split is one way and it will include stops in Korcula and Hvar: • Swim and enjoy nature on beautiful Pakleni islands that are situated just in front of Hvar town • While visiting Hvar town you will be be able to explore its streets and the diverse offer of shops, restaurants and souvenirs and visit many historic sites that include: Franciscan monastery, Arsenal theatre, Spanjola fort and much more... • Korcula town dates back to middle ages and it is known as home of Marco Polo, the famous explorer, it is also characterised by its town walls that are very well preserved • You can have lunch on its main promenade that overlooks the Peljesac peninsula while sitting in the shade of fine trees, and also have a walk trough its narrow and charming streets
