Cista Provo - History
In 17th century Cista Provo started to separate its Parish from Radobilja. In 1825. Cista had its own mainstream. In 1845. Cista is finally separated from Parish Radobilja.
Name Cista Provo comes from noun for road – „cesta“, because of the road passing through settlement in Roman times, and from adjective „prhovo“ which means powder or dust (Croatian prah).
