Settlement Stanici is touristic settlement with pebble beaches. Most famous beaches are Zavode, Rice, Velika Luka and Rape. You can get to beach Velika Luka with a car. Other beaches are approachable only by foot. If you don't have a car you can rent a car in Omis or use private car transfers.

Stanici has two stores, restaurants and cafes. In nearby Omis you can find post office, banks, doctor, ATM and market. You can get to Omis with private car transfers, buses or if you rent a car.

In Omis there are also possibilities of renting a boat or use private boat transfers.

Old village Stanici is around 300 m far from the sea and it has few stone houses. Inhabitants were mostly directed to fishing.

After the main Adriatic road was built in 1962. inhabitants of village Stanici moved closer to the shore and started to develop tourism.

There is a legend about father from village Zvecanje who left Zvecanje with three sons. One of them moved to island Brac, other to Omis and third founded village Stanici. His family was the largest.
