From the highest peak of mountain Biokovo, St. Jure, there is amazing view on sea and Croatian islands. You can visit Nature park Biokovo.
Church of St. John, first church, was built in 1599./1600. It was first church built during Turkish rule in area of Imotski. Because of not so quality construction, this church was demolished. In 1898. started construction of new church. During the construction, mass was held in small chapel on cemetery. New church was dedicated to St. John in 1906. It is not known when was statue of St. John built, but it is believed in 16th century.
Town Imotski is very famous for Red lake and Blue lake, natural attractions which you can visit with group or private car excursions from Split.
In Makarska you will find many beautiful beaches and rich night life.
