Radovcici - History
Area of Radovcici was inhabited in 4th and 3rd century BC by Illyrian tribe Ardians. When Ardian Kingdom was ruined in 3rd century Radovcici was part of Roman province Ilyria.
Between Romans and Croats in 7th century, area of Radovcici was under the rule of Byzantine.
From 9th until 11th century Radovcici was part of Slavic colony Travunja.
Villages and parts of Radovcici were owned by noble families during Middle Ages.
In 1419. this area became part of Dubrovnik Republic.
In 1808. Radovcici were damaged during Russian and Montenegro attack.
