Bijaci was old Croatian settlement. During rule of Roman emperor Claudius it was called Siculi and emperor used to reward his soldiers with lands in this area.
Church of St. Roko was built in 16th century. It has a statue of St. Roko made by Marin Studin.
Church of St. Peter of Klobucac was built on foundations of old church from 13th century.
Biblical garden was founded for visit of pope John Paul II. Garden surrounds tha Church of Our Lady of Spiljan. In church's yard is water source what helped in garden construction. In Biblical garden are planted almost all plants mentioned in Bible.

Kastel Novi - History
In 1512. Pavao Antun Cipiko from Trogir, built a palace which later was developed into settlement surrounded with walls and sea. On north side was entrance with a drawbridge.
