Sumpetar - Location and Climate
Sumpetar (Central Dalmatia, Croatia) is small settlement located in Municipality Dugi Rat, in region of Central Dalmatia. Sumpetar is located within Adriatic main coastal road, 6 km far from Omis and 17 km far from Split.
Sumpetar is located in the bottom of hill Perun.
Distances of other towns: Zagreb – 422 km, Sibenik – 100 km, Rijeka – 425 km, Dubrovnik – 202 km, Osijek – 700 km, Budapest – 762 km, Ljubljana – 478 km.
You can come to Sumpetar by car or car rental. You can go by main Adriatic coastal road within the sea or by highway A1 and exit for Omis.
If you are coming by plane, nearest airport is airport Split located in Kastela. From here you can get to Sumpetar by taxi, bus, private boat transfers, private car transfers or by renting a boat.
Nearest train station is located in Split, so you will also continue towards Sumpetar by some other transportation.
Sumpetar has around 550 inhabitants mostly directed to tourism.
