Cetina - Location and Climate
Cetina (Central Dalmatia, Croatia) is a river in region of Central Dalmatia.
Cetina is 105 km long. Its source is located near village Cetina, on the slopes of mountain Dinara, on 385 m altitude. Main source is lake which is over 100 m deep. Cetina flows into Adriatic sea in town Omis.
Cetina river flow: village Cetina, lake Perucko near Vrlika, Sinaj field, town Sinj, town Trilj, Bisko, Sestanovac, Zadvarje, town Omis, Adriatic sea.
River Cetins is navigable 24 km downstream from Glavas.
Tributaries of river Cetina: Rumin, kosinac, Ruda, Dragovic, Dabar, Vojskova, Karakasica.
The hydropower system of Cetina river is consisted of HE Peruca, HE Orlovac, HE Dale, HE Kraljevac, HE Zakucac.
Fields within river Cetina: Pasko, Cetinsko, Vrlicko, Koljansko, Ribaricko, Hrvatacko, Sinjsko and Grabsko field. Fields Ribaricko and Koljansko were flooded when lake Perucko was built.

Cetina - History
Village Cetina was named after river Cetina and old Croatian Parish Cetina which was first time mentioned in 10th century. Village Cetina was part of Municipality Knin until 1991.
River Cetina was used for mills in 17th and 18th century. Family Radman renovated them in 19th century, so today they are called Radman's mills and are famous destination for picnics and group or private one-day car excursions from Split or Omis. Radman's mills are located 6 km far from Omis.
