Loviste - Attractions
The Church of Mary's Heart was constructed in 1885.

Ston is a medieval small town with a long history that dates back to the early 14th century. It is situated 76 km from Loviste and here you can see the longest stone wall in Europe called the Ston Wall. It is the second longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. Ston the oldest active salt-production plant in the world and is therefore also known as the 'salt city'.
Dubrovnik is a situated 130 km from Loviste. It is one of the most beautiful cities of the Mediterranean and a city of a world-famous cultural heritage under UNESCO protection. In Dubrovnik you can see:

Loviste - History
The settlement of Loviste was established in 1885 by the immigrants who came here from the island of Hvar choosing to rather stay home in Croatia than go to America. Loviste is referred to by the elderly locals by the name Lovisce.
