The quadrangular tower with loopholes situated in the bay belongs to the 17th century. Right next to it there is a baroque one floor castle with a yard. At the entrance to the yard can be seen the coat of arms of family Martinis-Marchi.
Guests can take a tour of archaeological remains of the Roman and Greek era and visit the historical museum, villages left behind in time as well as remnants of agriculture and tools that are still being used today.
In Stomorska there is a Church of St. Nikola that was constructed in 1870.

Maslinica (island Solta) - History
The settlement Maslinica has been established in 1703 when the family of nobles asked the Venetian governor for a permission to found a new settlement and build a castle with defensive towers for defensive purposes against the frequent pirate attacks. This castle is presently been renovated into a luxurious accommodation and a restaurant Conte Alberti.
Maslinica is a very attractive tourist destination particularly appealing to the yachtsmen because of the Sesula bay situated right next to Maslinica where they can have safe anchorage.
