Potravlje - History
Area of Potravlje has been inhabited since Prehistory. It was inhabited with Illyrians.
On locality Grudina were found remains of Early Christian basilica which testifies that Christianity came to this area early.
Parish of St. Philip and Jacob is consisted of settlements Potravlje, Maljkovo and Satric. In 17th century came new inhabitants when leader Franjo Marinovic brought 736 Catholic families from Zivogosce.
85 inhabitants of Potravlje participated in World War II.
In 1991. chetniks occupied this area and burned 90% of houses, two Catholic churches and schools.
