Church of St. Stephen the First Martyr was built in 1863. First church was built before 17th century and renovated in 18th.

Tower Znojilo is located on top of the hill Grad. There are ruins of walls with tower from 16th century. Tower was used as defence during Turkish attacks. Tower was built by Venetians who also demolished it in 1530. because it was not in good position.

Town Trogir and city Split can be visited with group or private car excursions.

Prgomet (Central Dalmatia, Croatia) is settlement and Municipality in region of Central Dalmatia, in Split-Dalmatia county. Prgomet is located in inland of Central Dalmatia, north of town Trogir. Municipality Prgomet is located on surface of 77,23 km2.

Municipality Prgomet is consisted of settlements: Prgomet, Labin, Trolokve, Bogdanovici, Sitno.

Settlement Prgomet is surrounded with hills Ljubec, Osljak, Papic, Praca and Opor.

Railroad Split-Perkovic passes through Prgomet. Also nearby is highway A1 Zagreb-Split. So you can come to Prgomet with train, car or bus. You can also come with a boat to Trogir or Kastela and then use private car transfers or car rentals to get to Prgomet.

Municipality Prgomet has around 673 inhabitants and settlement Prgomet around 132 inhabitants. Most of the inhabitants are Catholics and Croats.

Prgomet has elementary school, post office and ambulance.

Area of Prgomet and many settlements in inland of Dalmatia, have been inhabited since Prehistory. Many forts and old cemeteries testify that.

In 7th century Slavs came to this area.

Prgomet was first time mentioned in 11th century. Pavao Andreis writes that family Andreis from Trogir got this settlement by grant of Bela IV. in 1409.

Settlement Prgomet belonged to Trogir's Diocese until 1830. when it got under Sibenik's Diocese.
