Parish Church of St. John the Baptist was built in 1780. in today's shape. It was built on ruins of smaller church. Church was declared as cultural monument in 1976. On bell-tower is year 1789. Church has three altars: marble altar from 18th century which is main altar, wooden south altar dedicated to St. John the Baptist and north marble altar dedicated to Our Lady.
River Cetina is ideal for rafting near Omis. You can get to Omis from Split with group or private car excursions.

Slime - History
Slime was first time mentioned in written documents in 1382. Village used to be part of Parish Radobilja.
In 16th century it got under the rule of Turks. Slime was freed from Turks finally in 1684.
Parish Slime was first time mentioned in 1625.
Parish house was built in the beginning of 20th century.
In area of Parich church are few piles of Illyrian tombs which testifies their presence.
