Tugare (Central Dalmatia, Croatia) is settlement located west of town Omis. It is administrative part of town Omis. Tugare is located in Split-Dalmatia county.

Tugare - History
In 20th century Tugare was famous for cherries, but production stopped when all trees died. Cherry type was called „tugarka“.
Tugare was first time mentioned in written documents in 852. It was Trpimir's grant in which was first time mentioned name Hrvat (Croat) in written document.

Some theories say that Tugare was named after Tuga, one of mythical seven Croatian tribes leaders who led Croats to Croatia.
