In 16th century Parish Ugljane got under Turkish rule. It had been like that until 1715.

Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padoa was first mentioned in 1709. It had a graveyard around it. Church was renovated in 1720. and in 1863. In 1958. Bell-tower was built.
